John, I wanted to say thank you for speaking at the National Disability Mentoring Day at Highmark. Your story is truly inspiring! It is a great gift that you give to others by sharing your story and experiences.

Michael A. Wiegand, Executive Communications Blue Cross Blue Shield

I along with the Board of Directors, staff, clients and their families were both honored and humbled that you served as Keynote Speaker at The Kennedy Center’s 63rd Annual Awards Dinner and Meeting. The one word that keeps coming up about your speech, at last evening’s event, is “inspirational.”

You could have heard a pin drop, in the overflowing banquet hall, as you shared your story of tragedy, struggle, perseverance and triumph. The theme of this year’s meeting was “It Takes a Community”  and you are its personification.

Thank you for reminding us that “How far you fall doesn’t determine who you are, it’s how hard you work to get back up.”  We left the Awards Dinner inspired, enlightened and more determined that the work we do truly matters.

Martin Schwartz, President and CEO of the Kennedy Center

The Connecticut Medical Group Management Association was fortunate to have John Tartaglio as our Key Note Speaker at Our Annual June Expo. John was wonderful, informative and entertaining. He shared his inspirational story and explained to us what’s possible when ordinary people are pushed to extreme limits. A very engaging presentation, very intense and his story taught us to appreciate life to the fullest. I would recommend him as a speaker.

Mark Schuman, Executive Director of CT Medical Group Management Association

We were really thrilled to have John here today, he did a fantastic job. His message was so clear and concise, it really applied to our business. We are always trying to drive our people to work hard and be inspired. More importantly, he showed us what can happen when we drive ourselves to do more. John is an inspiration to all of us.

Robert J. Oris, Jr.President Oris Inc.

Through a local media source, I recently became aware of John Tartaglio’s compelling life story and his success as an motivational speaker and an inspiration to all. As such, as part of our company’s mentoring program, I thought it would be nice to have John speak with our mentors, mentees and others about living life without limits as he has done and continues to do. Much to my delight, connecting with John was easy and he was wonderful to work with as we put together a company-sponsored motivational speaking event last month. Ultimately, John delivered a powerful talk that absolutely touched all attendees in a very positive and uplifting manner. The heartfelt session was informative, interesting, interactive and spiritually uplifting to say the least. Everyone came away with a deep sense that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve great heights – even some that appear unattainable.

I highly recommend John for any such motivational speaker program that you may have at your organization. John’s approach with his audience is direct, sincere, humble and matter-of-factly. He has clearly turned his personal tragedy into triumph and he will show you the road map to personal success and goal attainment!

Thomas F. Curtin, Jr., Corporate Director of Human Resources at Ulbrich Stainless Steels and Special Metals, Inc.

John, thank you so much for your inspirational message. We had supplied the students with a survey asking them about their favorite part of the event – in the majority of instances they indicated you and your message!!! Thank you again and we look forward to recommending you for future events both at and outside of Highmark!!

Melissa Ferraro, Compliance & Accessibility Manager Corporate Diversity and Work Life Highmark

John – your message of strength and courage through adversity was truly felt by the Oxford High School community. Recently, we lost a student and our community was gravely shattered by this terrible loss; today you brought much hope and a guiding light back to our students. Thank you for sharing your story of inspiration!

Lysa Margiotta, Oxford, CT High School Teacher/Event Coordinator

Sometimes people face challenges, and Tartaglio has shown that you can’t let that keep you down.

Kenny Gracia, college student

Tartaglio’s talk was amazing. He doesn’t feel sorry for himself, he acts normal. He does things that a lot of us think are out of reach for us. He’s an inspiration. He doesn’t make me feel bad that I haven’t done anything (like he has).

Kimberly Nania, college student

If you are considering having John Tartaglio as a speaker, stop considering and book him, now! John’s message, that you can accomplish great things by working hard, is one that has stayed with us.
